Since Moon Gakyung enrolled in the Department of Theater and Film during college, she had already met a lot of advertising agencies and companies by then. That was how she naturally got into modeling.

However, it wasn’t until 2014 that she began to earnestly take steps to build a career in the modeling industry. That year, she won the 2014 Super Race Racing Model Contest. Since then, she has been working as a racing model.

She has participated in various automobile-related events as a posing and racing model, such as the 2015 Seoul Motor Show and 2018 Busan Motor Show. She has also joined famous racing teams, including Kumho Tire and CJ Logistics Racing Team.
