Career

His huge career started in 2011 when friends encouraged him to make a YouTube channel.

The next year, German earned 1 million subscribers and became one of the most-subscribed Spanish-speaking channels.

As he grew his fanbase, German expanded more channels based on the niche. In 2016, he released a song with his brother, Diego, titled Señales.

Crowd Crush that Made Ten People Injured

In April 2014, he’s slated to perform at the Telmex Digital Village in Mexico City’s Zócalo.

The event attracted higher number of attendees than expected, in which a lot of people waited in line to see him. Heat exhaustion made him fainted and had to be withdrawn from the location.

This caused the crowd to get out of controls. Poeple started to try getting through the barriers and inside the tent area.

Consequently, a lot of people got hurt and ten people were injured when a piece of light equipment fell down into the crowd.

Accused of Using Bots by YoLordestructor

In 2013, a video posted by YoLordestructor who’s a Spanish YouTuber, containing a claim that German had been using bots.

He attached a proof of HolaSoyGerman’s video titled Internet y Redes Sociales that allegedly using bots. The video in question has been deleted since.
