So Ji Sub is a South Korean actor. He’s best recognized for his roles in various hit drama series such as Something Happened in Bali (2004), I’m Sorry, I Love You (2004), Master’s Sun (2013), and Oh My Venus (2015–2016).

Career

So Ji Sub made his debut as an actor with the TV sitcom Three Guys And Three Girls in 1996 before showing up in the drama series Model nearly a year later.

Initially, he did not stand out enough to be noticed during his debut days. However, he still appeared in a few drama series somewhere in the range of 1997 and 2002.

These drama series include I Hate You, But It’s Fine (1998), Because of You (2000), Cheers for the Women (2000), Law Firm (2001), We Are Dating Now (2002), and so on.

In 2002, he secured his first major role in the drama series Glass Slippers. His performance brought him much-required recognition and his popularity skyrocketed from there.

He had another breakout role in 2004 with the drama series I’m Sorry, I Love You right after finishing his other role in the drama series Something Happened in Bali.

After a long break, he returned with the movie Rough Cut in 2008. It was a low-budget movie but thanks to Ji Sub’s spectacular acting it became all the rage in South Korea.
