Career
Milly Alcock started as an actress and model for commercial advertisements. She had been working with various brands like NBN, KFC, Cadbury, and Woolworths.
These all preceded her first acting job in the 2014 TV series Wonderland, where she played the role of an uncredited high schooler.
That said, the little role she had was sufficient to land her a slightly bigger role in the 2017 TV series High Life. It was then followed by another role in the TV series Janet King.
Despite only having shown up in three episodes, her acting performance managed to help her make a movie debut with the movie The School the following year.
Her greatest credit, however, came when she played the role of Meg in the well-known TV series Upright, somewhere in the range of 2019 and 2022.
Because of the successful outcome of the series, she was then offered a huge role in the big-budgeted TV series House of the Dragon in 2022.

Luca Ward
She shared a snap of herself and Luca around November 2019. She captioned the post with “Boy Asleep.”
This possibly what made dating rumor between them spread. However, it appeared that the rumors are indeed just rumors.
Ari Kwasner-Catsi
Just a month after she posted a photo with Luca, Milly shared another photo of herself smoking a cigarette beside Ari.
Even though the picture indeed indicates their closeness to some degree, the caption doesn’t suggest any of that. So, it isn’t really clear if Ari is really her boyfriend or just a friend.
Net Worth
She’s estimated by multiple sources to own around $2 million of net worth. She most likely earns her income mainly through working as a professional actress.

Quotes
““I put a lot of pressure on myself. It was this feeling of all your dreams having come true, but now you’ve actually got to do the thing. Which is really scary. Because if it doesn’t work there’s no-one else to blame but yourself.”
“The arts felt like something that was just mine, that I had ownership over. I really held onto that as a sense of independence and something I could call my own, I was very protective about it.”
“It’s been an interesting experience in terms of how people treat you. There was this feeling of All eyes on me for a moment. I was meeting people I admired at events and having people compliment me on my work.”
“I tried to disassociate myself from [fame]. I never searched reviews or read or watched my interviews back, because I think that would be very bad for my mental health.”
“The goal for me with acting has never been to be famous, or to be a movie star. I think that’s emotionally taxing. It’s not what I strive for at all.”
“I’ve been looking at other people’s careers that I admire, and the way they’ve handled it. And I’m thinking about who I want to be in that public eye space, which is a space I don’t want to be in a lot.”
“I wasn’t a “misfit”, but I did relate to Meg’s feeling about her place in the world— feeling a bit misunderstood, and finding it hard to grasp things that other people found quite easy.”
“Ultimately when you invest so many hours into being a person— you spend more hours being them than you do being yourself— ultimately, the physicality and intonation and the way you move, and carry yourself, and think [as the role] bleeds into you and your everyday life.”
“I was 18, I just dropped out of school, and I went and travelled around Australia for three months shooting a TV show. I’d never worked like that in my life — I’d never gotten a part like that ever, and I just wanted to do it so well.”
“The opportunities have changed massively. People around me have changed. A Pandora’s box has been opened, and I got to have a little peek inside. I think that just the way that people treat me is a bit different, which is the hardest thing to grapple with. It’s weird.”
““I remember being on stage. I had this euphoric feeling. And I was like, ‘I want that, whatever that is. Yeah, I want to feel like that for the rest of my life.’”
“I’ve always been a bit too independent from a very, very young age.I enrolled myself into high school and told my mum when the audition was. I called up my agent when I was 13, called the agency, like, ‘Hi, can I have an audition?’, because I learned very young that no one’s going to do it for me.”
Milly Alcock is willing to do anything to make her dreams come true, one of which is being a successful actress. Hopefully, her passion and determination would inspire many others.
