Karina Ramos is interested in fashion and modeling while studying at the university. She decided to participate in Miss Supranational 2012 and represented her country at the third session of Miss Supranational 2012, where she placed in the top 20.
She continued her success in the pageant industry by competing at Miss Belleza Americana 2013 and placing as the third runner-up after winning the Best Body Award. At the same time, she won the Reina Internacional de la Paz 2013 and got first runner-up.
