Liza Koshy got her fame when she posted comic videos on Vine in 2013. In this case, she used the name Lizzza. Since Vine was shut down in 2017, she moved to YouTube.

In 2016, she interviewed the US presidential candidate at that time, Barack Obama.

Both of them claiming that “it’s not racist” on the videos, as he liked “the sound […] when they talk.”

In the following week, she shared a lengthy apology post on her social media page, stating that she’s ” taking inventory, taking initiative and taking note that my impact and influence will weigh greater than my intention.”
