Career

Growing up, Ahn Bo Hyun didn’t really think of becoming an actor. He graduated from Busan Sports High School and used to do amateur boxing. He even won several competitions during that time.

The man from Busan became interested in acting after watching the 2002 boxing film Champion. He wanted to hone his skills and pursue a career in acting.

Bo Hyun made his acting debut in 2014. He got a role in the TV series Golden Cross. Over the years, he continued to star in many more TV series.

Some of his most well-known roles are in including, Descendants of the Sun (2016), Dokgo Rewind (2018), and also Her Private Life (2019). He also had his debut on the big screen with Hiya (2016).

Following his dating announcement with BLACKPINK member Jisoo, an alleged scandal of Ahn Bo Hyun resurfaced within the public.

It started with a video that circulated on the internet, showing a behind-of-the-scenes of the actor who’s standing while a female staff member read and held a script for him.

However, as the controversy heightened, several staff members spoke up in support of him.

A stylist who claimed to be the one in the video clarified the misunderstanding, stating that she “was informing Ahn Bo Hyun about the particular scenes” because of “a sudden change in the schedule.”
