Go Won already had a strong desire to be an idol when she watched a concert by OH MY GIRL in 2016. After realizing that, she then took her first step by joining LP Dance Academy.
She did a lot of hard work when she became a student there, and because of some reasons, she decided to try a new path.
Two years later, Go Won then became a trainee for BlockBerry Creative and became a member on 15th January 2018.
She then became a part of Yyxy, one of LOONA’s sub-unit, on 27th April 2018 alongside Olivia Hye, Chuu, and Yves.
After doing some projects with the sub-unit, Go Won finally debuted with LOONA by releasing [+ +] as the first mini-album on 20th August 2018.
