Joung Joohee

Joung Hyun Hee, who is more known by her stage name Joung Joohee, is a South Korean model, umbrella girl, and yoga instructor.

She gained fame by building a career as a model, especially in the racing modeling field as an umbrella girl.

Career

It is not exactly known how Joung Joohee began her career as a model. However, it appears that she started gaining attention as a model as she participated in the Miss Maxim Korea Contest in 2014.

According to her, she had wanted to join the competition for a long time, but kept missing the timing. By then, she competed in the contest under her real name Joung Hyunhee.

She successfully finished the competition until she advanced into the quarterfinal stage. After she got eliminated, she began modeling activities under a stage name and signed with Maxim Entertainment.

She appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine along with models Kim Sohee and Park Moobi for their June 2015 issue.

Joohee began expanding into the posing and racing modeling fields in around 2016, as she participated in the 2016 Busan International Motor Show and 2016 Seoul Auto Salon Week.

In 2020 to 2023, she was affiliated with the Seohan GP Racing Team. After parting ways with the racing team, she began to work for Road FC.

Outside of her modeling career, she is also active as a yoga instructor. Her interest in yoga began after she practiced it regularly and found that it helped make her mentally stronger.
