Kim Dana came across a racing modeling job when she was working as one of the staffs of Korea Speed Festival held in Seongdo, Incheon, South Korea.

She was immediately attracted by the charm of racing that she felt. Therefore, she decided to give racing modeling a try.

In February 2016, she made her a debut through the Racing Model Contest held that year, in which she was awarded the Rookie of the Year title.

In the following year, she won the Popularity Award at the Asia Model Festival Racing Model.

Throughout her career as a racing model, she has participated in various automobile-related events, such as the 2016 & 2017 CJ Super Race Championships and the 2017 Seoul Motor Show.

In 2020, she was featured in the July issue of Carlife magazine.

Outside of racing modeling, she is also actively working as a broadcast and advertisement model.
