The accusation rose after he got caught holding hands with Maia Reficco, his co-star in A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow, Paris.

The term queerbaiting here refers to actions where a straight actor/actress taking queer roles, even though the original meaning is an act of intentionally hinting queer stories to gain support from the LGBTQ community.

In his tweet, Kit stated that he felt forced to come out as bisexual, blaming the accusers of “forcing an 18-year-old to out himself” and for them to “missed the point of the show.”
