Lee Dong Hwi

Lee Dong Hwi is a South Korean actor and singer who is also a part of the supergroup MSG Wannabe.

He rose to stardom through starring in various Korean drama series such as Reply 1988 (2015) and Big Bet (2022).

Career

Lee Dong Hwi started his journey in the entertainment industry by debuting as an actor back in 2013.

In that year, he immediately landed various small roles for some big-screen movies, such as South Bond, Cold Eyes, Queen of the Night, and Way Back Home.

In 2014, he started to appear on television by acting in the KBS2 drama, Gunman in Joseon, which later was followed by his appearance in Divorce Lawyer in Love.

Donghwi got popular after participating in the 2015 top family drama, Reply 1988, and portrayed a character as Ryu Dong Ryong.

After that, this Cancer actor then came back to the big screen and acted in The Beauty Inside (2015), The Handmaiden (2016), Confidential Assignment (2017), and New Trial (2017).

From 2017 to 2019, Donghwi decided to take a break which later was continued by a comeback appearance in Extreme Job (2019), The Call (2020), and New Year Blues (2021).

In 2021, Donghwi was announced to be one of the MSG Wannabe members who passed the Hangout with Yoo show program and successfully debuted as a member of MSG Wannabe.

He then was announced to act in Glitch drama (2022) alongside Jeon Yeo Bin, who is popular for her role in Vincenzo, and Big Bet (2022).

In 2023, Donghwi later continues his career by taking roles in Maybe We’ve Broken Up and Big Bet for its second season.
