Career

Lee Yi Kyung studied acting at the Seoul Institute of the Arts Acting Department in 2011.

He took minor roles in several acting projects before making his movie debut in White Night (2012) and the television series School 2013 (2013).

In the following years, he appeared in various drama series, such as My Love from the Star (2013) and Descendants of the Sun (2016).

He earned a major role for the first time with Welcome to Waikiki (2018), followed by the critically praised drama Children of Nobody (2018).

Yi Kyung took approximately a year break after his contract with HB Entertainment ended and signed with Sangyoung ENT.

He made a major small screen comeback with Marry My Husband (2024), where he showed a new side of himself by taking a villainous role.
