Career

Lexy Panterra’s widely diversified career actually started very young. She won her first-ever beauty pageant when she was only 5 years old.

At 8-year-old, she joined Los Angeles County Raceway (LACR) for her first motorcycle race and became the star of the show. Since then, she has won first place in several races.

However, she eventually had to end her winning streak when Tony Panterra, her professional motocross racer father, underwent a severe injury due to a motocross accident. Thus, at the age of 11, Lexy retired from motorcycle racing.

That being said, she still continued to play at the racetrack during the weekends spent with her father. During weekdays, she would spend attending theater and dance classes with her mother.

Born with a natural talent for art as a gift from her famous late poet, songwriter and producer grandmother, it’s not surprising that she invented a style of her own.

She used to be a member of an R&B girl group before shifted her music career to a soloist and promoted under the name Virgin Lex. As a musician, she has released singles such as Supa Dupa (2012) and Neon (2012).

In 2013, she watched some twerking choreography on YouTube, which inspired her to do classes on her own where she combines the dance moves with fitness elements.

It wasn’t until early 2014 that she decided to just do it. She launched her YouTube channel in 2014, where she taught a twerking-based exercise-dance program that she referred to as LTO Fitness (LexTwerkOut).
