Mimi started to enter the K-pop industry when she became a WM trainee several years ago.

After joining the agency to do her training periods, Mimi then finally had a chance to debut with the girl group called OH MY GIRL.

On April 20, 2015, Mimi eventually made her first debut alongside the group. Not only become an OH MY GIRL member, but she is also good at doing her solo career.

She made an appearance for Too Yoo Project alongside Kim Yong Il, Park Sang Hoo, and also Seunghee as a lead artist.
