Minzy

A journey from a high-caliber idol Minzy isn’t smooth since she just began digging deeper into the performing arts industry.

Before Minzy debuted with 2NE1, she had already become a very good dancer. She has won a lot of dance competitions, which led her into her participation as one of YG Entertainment’s trainees in the 6th grade.

After doing training for at least 5 years, she debuted with 2NE1 in 2009 by releasing Fire.

Six years later after 2NE1 got a hiatus, she initiated to build a dance studio called Millennium Dance Academy.

In 2016, this singer then left 2NE1 and YG Entertainment to start working as a solo performer by signing with Music Works.

Her debut EP was released on April 17, 2017, Minzy Work 01. “Uno”. Directly after the release, the EP got 2nd position for Billboard World Albums Chart.

Three years later, she chose to leave Music Works and finally build her company, MZ Entertainment.
