Im So Eun, or known as NC.A, is a South Korean singer and actress.

She initially gained fame by releasing a single My Student Teacher (2013), before developing her career into acting and appearing in drama series such as Reply 1994 (2013) and Criminal Minds (2017).

Career

NC.A started her journey in the entertainment industry right away after she graduated from junior high school.

At that time, she decided to continue her studies by going to a music academy, in which she had to perform her musical skills there.

Her performance was uploaded online by someone and it was then seen by the CEO of JJHolic Media, Chae Jong Ju, which made her being called for an audition.

She passed the audition and immediately became a trainee there. After some years of being a trainee, she successfully debuted as a singer on August 11, 2013, by releasing My Student Teacher.

In the same year, she also debuted as an actress by appearing in a popular tvN drama, Reply 1994, which portrayed a character as a cameo.

One year later, NC.A then released her first EP on April 9 and her next digital single with the title Hello Baby.

In 2015, she then released various singles, such as Coming Soon, Cinderella Time, Vanilla Shake, and many more, which later followed by her release for her first studio album, Time to Be A Woman in October 2016.

NC.A continued her career by joining a reality show, The Unit, in 2017, in which she successfully got third place and debuted in a temporary girl group, UNI.T.

After the group disbandment in 2018, she later continued her solo career as a singer and actress by releasing songs titled Melody For You (2021) and Love is Like Rain Outside the Window (2022).
