Seungyeon started her journey as a K-pop idol when she joined Cube Entertainment as a trainee.
During her training days before she debuted with CLC, she was trusted to make an appearance as a background dancer in G.NA’s Secret with the other four members of CLC.
In her pre-debut days, she also made an appearance for a BTOB’s MV, Beep Beep, in 2014.
After doing training for approximately four years, she then finally got a chance to debut as a real K-pop idol.
She made an official debut with CLC on March 19, 2015 and released the very 1st mini-album called First Love.
