Quotes
“[NCIS: Hawaiʻi] was such a tumultuous journey. There were ups and then downs, and then more downs, and then valleys. So it was really nice to end on a high note.”
“Queer characters taking up the same space as heterosexual relationships is so vital. So it’s a success story. I think if you see the reaction, it just shows that this is essential and that this is something that deserves to hold the same space as heterosexual relationships. And we need to see the world that we live in reflected on screen.”
“Kate’s always trying to prove herself, but this is definitely…she’s getting her feet wet in this situation. Having to go in and pretend to be someone else is definitely uncomfortable. Luckily, I think in the situation that she’s in she’s allowed to let those nerves show.”
“[Kate] doesn’t really want to get close to people because of that fear that they might leave her, you know that abandonment and the fear of not being able to take care of people the way that you want to and not being able to protect people.”
Tori Anderson started on a good foot when she first entered the entertainment industry. Hopefully, she will be able to maintain her career and stay with us for a long time.
